Welcome to the website of Hallwood Ecumenical Parish.

We are Christians worshipping in three church centres in the Beechwood, Brookvale, Sutton Park, and Palacefields areas of Runcorn new town in Cheshire. We are an ecumenical parish belonging to the Church of England, Methodist, and United Reformed Church.

Parish Holy Communion with the Bishop of Birkenhead

At our joint service of Holy Communion this coming Sunday, 5th September, 10.30am at Bethesda Church, we look forward to welcoming the Bishop of Birkenhead, the Rt. Rev. Keith Sinclair, as he joins us for worship and preaches.

Reaching out to God in Prayer

2010 is Hallwood Year of Prayer.

Each month we take a different topic as the focus for our prayers together.

In September we pray for those facing the challenges of new beginnings.

Treuddyn Tested on BBC Radio Merseyside "Daybreak" - again and again!

The worship group Treuddyn Tested, which contains members from Hallwood, has recorded a third 30 minute worship segment for BBC Radio Merseyside's "Daybreak"which went out in early August, Copies of the broadcast are available from Paul Pickup.

Christmas Lunches with the Briers in South Africa

You will hopefully recall that Hallwood Parish were asked if we could send money to pay for Christmas Lunches for poor people in South Africa.  The idea was to serve people a three course meal including some meat (a real treat for most recipients) and all for £ 3 a meal.  The first good news was that people responded generously and Lynn was able to send off £ 210 which would pay for Christmas Lunch for 70 people.
