Eco Update

URC Mission Council has passed a resolution to urge churches to reduce their use of single use plastics. While there are occasions during this pandemic when it is impossible to avoid the use of single-use plastic items, their use should be kept to an absolute minimum. They should also be carefully disposed of in a way that minimises their impact on the environment. See a URC guide to help you avoid single use plastics. Download it here (pdf)

There is a new Eco section on our website, which includes our Environmental policy.

Our Green Apostle Richard Pearce is running some training sessions in December, with Helen Stephens, from A Rocha UK (arocha.org.uk)
