Here is all the news from St. Mark's Chruch. Big Thank You from the Briers and the People's ChurchPaul Briers has written on behalf of the People's Church in Worcester, South Africa, to thank the people of Hallwood Parish for the money we sent which paid for 31 chairs in their new church premises.
Christmas Lunches with the Briers in South AfricaYou will hopefully recall that Hallwood Parish were asked if we could send money to pay for Christmas Lunches for poor people in South Africa. The idea was to serve people a three course meal including some meat (a real treat for most recipients) and all for £ 3 a meal. The first good news was that people responded generously and Lynn was able to send off £ 210 which would pay for Christmas Lunch for 70 people.
